CERT Team
The Municipality of Mt. Lebanon has developed a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program. The program was created to train people in the Mt. Lebanon community to help themselves, family and neighbors during an emergency as well as to establish a pool of volunteers that can assist with large scale emergencies and other public events.
To become a Mt. Lebanon CERT graduate you must complete the CERT Team Training Course. The training will include disaster preparedness, first Aid, CPR, establishing care shelters, sandbagging, traffic control, missing person searches and city operations, organization and communications during an emergency. The classes are free of charge and will be taught by Mt. Lebanon fire, police and other agencies.
